Selectboard Member, Linda MacNeil, will lead us on a walking tour of the downtown area and introduce us to other leaders helping to make things happen in Littleton. Thank you for agreeing to be a part of our upcoming charrette in Brentwood, NH on May 12-13. This 2-day community input and design program is a intensive but energizing process that many of our volunteers return to again and again.

The Plan NH Fall Conference is back! Join us, Thursday, September 29 from 8:30-5:00pm at Hotel Concord for our 2022 program, Retail Remade: New Life for Downtowns and Commercial Districts. Our speakers will focuse on the current and future state of commercial/retail space and the integral role these spaces play in community revitalization and vibrancy across New Hampshire.

Join us, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, as we learn more about the charrette processes that Bristol underwent. Former Town Administrator, Nik Coates, will lead us on a walking tour of the many projects that were implemented following the 2008 and 2018 charrettes. The tour will end at Shackett's Brewing Company. We will hear from Jon Shackett about the role his business has played in Bristol's rebirth and then have time for discussion and networking. 

During our 2022 Awards Evening, we will honor the newest group of Merit Awards winners, Scholarship & Fellowship recipients, and this years' winner of the NH Construction Industry Ethics Award.

Kickoff NH Gives with Plan NH as we host planner and architect Mark Evans for a special presentation on Innovative Engagement Strategies for Community-Supported Planning. Mark will share successes and lessons learned from his 30+ years of experience creating transformative plans for vibrant and walkable neighborhoods, villages and downtowns. Throughout his time leading teams in the preparation of downtown plans, master plans, traditional neighborhood ordinances, and form-based codes, Mark has initiated community engagement strategies to bring together public planning goals and private development realities. Hear about specific engagement techniques for developing walkable, mixed use places that support local commerce and are rooted in local architectural traditions. Case studies will focus on national examples from small towns and villages of comparable size to the average community here in New Hampshire.

Attendees will be eligible for CEU credits through the Northern New England Chapter of the APA. AIA credits are pending.
